TIRE AMNESTY/RECYCLING PROGRAM
CONTINUES:
McCreary County is using state grant funds to offer its citizens the
opportunity to dispose properly, and free of charge, old and
unwanted tires. Simply see Linda Babb, Solid Waste Coordinator, at
the Recycling Center at the transfer station in Stearns for a
voucher. This voucher can be used to dispose of tires at Leslie's
Tires. For information call Linda Babb's office at 606-376-2556 or

Businesses!
The McCreary County Fiscal Court, 109 Solid Waste Board and
Recycling Center are seeking all interested individuals, offices and
businesses to partner with our local recycling effort. Whether you
can commit to recycling on a grand level or just start small...we
want your support!

The McCreary County Recycling
Center is located at the transfer station on Cabin Creek Road, off
Wilburn K Ross Highway, in Stearns, Kentucky and is open weekdays
8:00am-4:00pm for items to be dropped off. You are asked to sort
your recyclable items by type before delivering to the station.
